My name is Thomas Pardee, and I’m an award-winning creative marketing and content leader with over 15 years of experience in strategy, creative development, production, and managing digital campaigns and products across industries.

My skills and experience have crossed industries, roles and disciplines, which has kept me inspired and engaged with lifelong learning and allowed me to be a true bridge-builder between teams and initiatives. From my early days as a journalism student—writing, photographing, and producing my own story packages—to my current agency work leading content strategies and experiences for global brands, I’ve always balanced the practical application of creative production skills with big-picture strategy, leadership, and brand building.

This passion for multidisciplinary work—driven by natural curiosity—has taken my career in exciting and unexpected directions. I’ve worked across digital journalism, e-commerce, nonprofits, and agencies, with a side of freelance writing and consulting. But no matter the industry, my purpose has remained the same: to collaborate with passionate, dedicated teams and roll up my sleeves to create interesting, impactful work—no matter what new skills or proficiencies that work demands.

Writing has always been my most intuitive creative medium, evolving alongside my professional goals. I honed my skills through an education in long-form journalism, earning a degree in the field, and later as a copywriter, developing campaigns and creative executions for various brands.

Graphic Design
& Visual Storytelling

If writing has been my right hand, the visual side of storytelling has been my left. For over 20 years, I’ve developed proficiency in professional design tools to bring my ideas to life—both in-house for brands as lead creative and as a freelance graphic designer.

From evolving existing brands to developing entirely new ones, I enjoy distilling an organization’s mission and identity into a unique voice and visual presence. I have led both strategic and creative brand development efforts, bringing brands to life in ways that are fresh while remaining deeply rooted in their essence.

& Direction

Video storytelling requires both technical expertise (lighting, cinematography) and creative vision (talent direction, production design, editing), along with the ability to navigate logistical challenges under pressure. Given this, producing and directing video is the perfect fit for my multidisciplinary brain.

Social Media Strategy

Social media is a language, and fluency in it has been central to nearly every project I’ve worked on. I began as a columnist covering social trends for Ad Age before transitioning into social media management. Since then, I’ve worked as a marketer and content developer across in-house roles, agencies, and freelance consulting.

Experiential Activation

One of the most exciting additions to my skill set has been the conception, creative development, and production of experiential activations. These projects merge writing, video production, and brand storytelling to execute large-scale creative visions in the real world. I’ve had the thrill of activating in cities across the U.S., embracing the unique challenges these projects demand.
