Juni Learning:
Campaign & Creative

I partnered with EdTech startup Juni to conceive a unique and impactful brand marketing campaign, and directed a photoshoot and copy development sprint that became the site's homepage.

My Role: Creative Director, Copywriter, Designer
Challenge
Juni Learning, an education technology startup, had established itself as an innovative platform for one-on-one computer science and coding instruction. With a bold, fresh brand identity newly in place, the company was ready to take its marketing and storytelling to the next level—positioning Juni as a premium education solution that prepares kids for the future.
As part of my application for the Creative Director role, I conceived “Futures in the Making”, a campaign designed to bring Juni’s mission to life across digital, TV, and out-of-home advertising. The concept was built around a key insight: parents aren’t just looking for extracurricular activities—they’re investing in their child’s future. The messaging focused on the idea that Juni doesn’t just teach coding—it helps kids become creators, builders, and innovators.
I ultimately worked with the Juni team to execute aspects of this vision, directing their first-ever brand photoshoot and refining website and marketing visuals to align with the premium, future-focused identity I had developed.
Strategy & Execution
“Futures in the Making” – A Campaign Rooted in Potential (Concept Work)
For my proposal, I developed a multi-platform campaign that positioned Juni Learning as the premier pathway for young learners to develop real-world skills. The campaign centered on the phrase “Futures in the Making”, paired with aspirational messaging that helped parents visualize their child’s potential: "Innovator in the Making," "Builder in the Making," "Creator in the Making," "Leader in the Making," etc. This phrasing alluded to both the promise of the practice of learning, as well as the power of building and creating things, even at a young age. It was intuitive language but imbued with double meaning that drove impact.
The creative approach leveraged bold, direct-to-camera portraits of real kids, emphasizing their confidence, curiosity, and drive. This framework was designed to translate seamlessly across:
Paid Social Ads: High-impact visuals with A/B testing of CPC and CPA to optimize performance.
Out-of-Home (Billboards & Bus Shelters): Large-format placements featuring hero messaging and QR codes for engagement tracking.
TV & Digital Video: Short-form storytelling, emphasizing how Juni empowers young minds through personalized instruction.
Bringing the Brand to Life Through Photography (Executed Work)
I collaborated with the Juni team to execute elements of this vision, directing their first brand photoshoot—a foundational step in shaping the company’s website, advertising, and marketing materials.
I led creative and production oversight, directing the models and ensuring the lighting, styling, and overall aesthetic aligned with Juni’s modern, aspirational brand identity. I also took charge of brand Integration, making sure we thoughtfully incorporated Juni’s new color system and typeface to create visually cohesive, high-impact imagery.
This shoot provided a versatile content library that elevated Juni’s digital presence and laid the foundation for future campaigns.
Once complete, I conceived a fresh copy and photo treatment to immediately bring the new brand to life on Juni's home page, visualizing the remote learning aspect of the program and focusing on the practical skills the Juni product offered. "1:1 Online Learning, Designed for a Real World Start."
Results
This work helped establish Juni Learning’s creative and strategic direction, ensuring that the brand spoke to parents in a way that felt premium, aspirational, and emotionally resonant. By blending big-picture campaign thinking with high-quality creative execution, the project strengthened Juni’s positioning in the EdTech space and set the stage for future expansion.
