I worked with this education technology startup to develop its high-level brand messaging and put its newly launched brand into practice via concepts for its homepage as well as creative executions for an integrated brand campaign spanning paid social, OTT and out-of-home.

The Trevor Project: Rebrand

My Role: Creative Director

In partnership with the award-winning branding agency Kettle, I led the creative strategy and production of a full-scale brand refresh for The Trevor Project, including new brand visuals, messaging, and website. This refresh was aimed at making Trevor’s respected brand even more inclusive and timely for the 1.8 million LGBTQ young people who need crisis support every year. Using bold new colors, fresh imagery featuring in-demo models, and straightforward language that doesn’t shy away from important issues about suicide and identity, the brand will prepare Trevor for a whole new stage of its mission.

The Trevor Project: Pride Everywhere

Leveraging Trevor’s existing brand—and pivoting our creative strategy in light of the cancellation of physical Pride celebrations in 2020—I developed the concept and creative treatment (including all copy, scripts, and visuals) for Trevor’s Pride 2020 fundraising and messaging campaign, “Pride Everywhere”. The hero element was our "Trevor Orange" crop marks, which inverted to symbolize that the world was full of Pride, no matter the context. This included a UGC campaign with a social media filter, a toolkit for corporate partners, and a hero video re-contextualizing “found footage” of past celebrations bringing our core campaign message to life during the COVID pandemic, featuring a voiceover by Demi Lovato.

Shhmoothie:
Brand Development

My Role: Brand Director, Video Director

I led the brand development of a smoothie product, Shhmoothie, which was in its nascent stages and needed a visual identity. Working with my creative director, I worked to create a logo, design system, and demo video that captured the bold, organic feeling mirrored by the product's flavors.

WeightWatchers: Design Exploration

My Role: Graphic Designer, Video Editor

In 2021, shortly after WeightWatchers rebranded to better suit its expanded mission, I was tapped to produce design samples for their updated social media strategy, specficically for their content franchises like the "Wise Words" affirmations videos and their #GiveAShift editorial posts. All of these used their untested brand identity in different ways.

Birchbox: Social Media Art Direction & Photography

My Role: Art Director, Photographer

During my time managing social media at Birchbox, I was tasked with producing social-specific content with the limited support of the creative team to ensure social assets had both the feel of a phone-shot image and the polish of the Birchbox brand.
